Twelve days of Christmas

Year 7 and 8 form classes were each allocated one of the twelve days of Christmas and were asked to make that item for it to be hung off a tree as a centrepiece for the Senior Citizen’s Christmas party. These were their amazing creations. 8E were the overall winners with their very impressive and intricate 11 pipers piping. Well done everyone and especially 8E!!

Christmas wreaths

Year 9 and 10 form classes were asked to make their own Christmas Wreaths to use as table decorations for our annual Senior Citizen’s party. Here are a collection of the beautiful wreaths. 9D and 10A were the winners. Well done to everyone and in particular 9D and 10A!!

Christmas Baubles

Year 11 form classes were asked to make Christmas Baubles to hang off our two beautiful Christmas trees – the one in St Chad’s foyer and the one on the stage in the school hall. These are the lovely baubles they created and filled. 11A were the winners. Well done to everyone that participated and especially 11A!!

St Catherine of Siena

Year 7 were invited to design their own image of St Catherine of Siena, their year group patron, to be displayed in the school hall alongside the other year group patrons that were designed last year. There were many fantastic entries that showed a lot of time and effort, as well as talent and creativity. The winner of this competition was Tayyba Talat in 7G who produced this very impressive pencil and pen image of St Catherine. Well done to everyone that entered and especially Tayyba!!
