What a great start to our new family learning course! Our focus for this half term is the Chinese New Year, so far we have learnt about the animal of our birth year and the meanings behind it, we have painted some good luck signs and today we cooked a Chinese stir fry – it smelt and looked delicious!

In the next few weeks we will be baking Chinese almond cookies, making lanterns and dragons and sewing a Chinese welcome sign.  Many thanks as always to our families for their hard work and to Miss Ormsby, Miss Dhir and Miss Sinicola for supporting with the sessions.
