Today, on Safer Internet Day, we are sharing some informative and helpful resources for Parents and Carers.
This years focus is about supporting young people in knowing what to trust online. Each and every one of us is spending more time online so it is important that young people are in a position to question, challenge and change the online world. The UK Safer Internet Cafe have put together some resources to help support young people and their families in exploring how influence, persuasion and manipulation can impact on young people decisions, questions and what they share online.
We have provided links below to resources that have been tailored to support parents and carers in supporting their children with using the internet safely.
School will be exploring online safety in more detail after half term through PSD lessons. Resources will also be shared remotely for pupils to access.
