On Tuesday 19^th June, the Girls Network cohort enjoyed a session with engineering firm, LMJV. The girls listened to a mini-lecture on HS2 and the impact that it is going to have on Birmingham. They then had the chance to design advertisements educating people on HS2 and the impact it will have on the city. There were some fantastic creations made, with both Zianne and Rashae being congratulated by the facilitator for their ‘professional-quality’ work. This opportunity was linked to increasing aspirations in STEM and to develop young people’s knowledge on HS2.
