The staff and governors of Holy Trinity Catholic School, as well as the CEO and Board of Directors of the St Teresa of Calcutta Multi Academy Company (STOC MAC), would like to congratulate Year 11 pupils on an excellent set of GCSE results.
We’re excited to share that this year we’ve made significant progress in all areas and achieved some of our best results yet. Watching pupils open their envelopes, alongside staff, with so many smiling faces is testament to the hard work of both pupils and staff over the last five years.
Highlights include:
- An impressive total of 55 Grade 9s were awarded across various subjects, including 18 in Science, 10 in RE, 7 in Maths, 6 in English, among others. This is a 266% increase!
- Our highest-achieving student earned seven Grade 9s
- The percentage of pupils achieving Grades 7-9 in both English and Maths has increased by 6% compared to last year.
- There has been a rise of 101 Grades 7-9 awarded this year compared to the previous year.
- Students in Citizenship, Film Studies, Art, French, and Combined Science performed above the national average for Grades 4-9.
- Pupils in Citizenship, English Literature, Computer Science, RE, and Combined Science achieved results that were above or in line with the national average for Grades 7-9.
- 100% of pupils in Art achieved Grade 4-9
It has been a privilege to work with Year 11 over the last five years and we wish them the best of luck as they begin their next journey.
Congratulations again Year 11!
