Our students had a fantastic opportunity to learn more about top universities in the UK, including what it takes to apply and succeed at institutions like Oxford. They met current Oxford students – two of whom are from Birmingham – which gave them a real sense of aspiration and belonging. The group also enjoyed a tour of the campus, dined in the iconic Great Hall (inspiration for the Harry Potter films), and explored the Anthropology and Archaeology Museum.
Throughout the day, our students were engaged, curious and exemplary in their conduct. The trip co-ordinator praised them highly for their enthusiasm and eagerness to learn more about university life and higher education opportunities.
Thank you to Ms Begum for organising this wonderful visit and Mr Oulton-Doris for accompanying.
