To mark French National Day, a group of enthusiastic Year 9 students teamed up with Mr Luque and Mrs McKiernan in the kitchen to cook up some delicious French treats — classic crêpes and the ever-popular Croque Monsieur!
Our budding chefs not only helped prepare the food but also ran the food stall during break and lunchtime. The crêpes were such a hit that we completely sold out within the first five minutes of break — c’est incroyable!
The event wasn’t just about great food and celebrating French culture — all the money raised is going towards our school charities, helping support those who need it most.
A big shout-out to our chefs — they are some of our top linguists and have proudly chosen French as one of their GCSE subjects. Bravo!
